Job Description
As the Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and closing of a complex automation project installation within a pharmaceutical environment.
The project will involve installing new automated systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including schedules, estimates, resources loading and requirements, and risk management plans
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and contractors to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget
- Manage project scope, schedule, and quality / expectations, and ensure project risks are identified and mitigated
- Provide regular project updates to project stakeholders, including executive leadership, project sponsors, and end-users
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, validation, engineering, and IT, to ensure successful project delivery
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including cGMP, FDA, and other industry standards
- Facilitate project team meetings, workshops, and other project-related activities to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Manage project documentation, including project plans, reports, and other project-related documentation
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, including project coordinators, engineers, and technicians
- Perform other duties as assigned by the project sponsor or executive leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a focus on automation and control systems
- Experience managing complex projects in a pharmaceutical or other highly regulated environment
- Familiarity with cGMP, FDA, and other industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects concurrently
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or technical equivalent; Bachelor of Science / Arts in Project Management or equivalent
