The Team Member Care Administrator will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, while providing high-level customer service.
This role will collaborate with team members, Defense leadership, UAW leadership, COEs, process-owners, and third-party administrators to deliver an experience that reinforces our People First Culture and promotes overall team member well-being.
YOUR IMPACT :
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Payroll Processing : Accurately process payroll for all team members on a bi-weekly basis, including coding changes in our timekeeping system, weekly payroll reports, payroll audits, pay changes, holiday pay, mass pay changes, and bonuses.
Ensure timely and accurate payroll submissions.
Record Keeping and Reporting : Maintain accurate payroll records and team member information, including processing payroll adjustment forms, managing personnel files (filing and file creation), and pay adjustments.
Generate and distribute reports for HR department and other ad hoc requests as needed. Assist with internal and external payroll audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Problem Resolution and Employee Support : Provide front-of-office general HR support to team member inquiries. Address and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
Provide excellent customer service to team members, HR team, and leaders regarding payroll inquiries and issues, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
Team Member Care : Support the overall Team Member Care program, focusing on team member well-being, including mental, physical, and emotional health.
Participate in and contribute to projects aimed at improving team member well-being.
Continuous Improvement : Be the voice of the customer by channeling feedback from team members and leaders to drive continuous process improvement and create better team member experiences.
Additional Duties May Include : Mass data changes, Workday contingent worker entry, new hire orientation, production recruitment, cross-training in other Team Member Care areas such as leave of absence and team member movement, and other miscellaneous Human Resources projects as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
One (1) or more years of relevant experienced in HR or customer care.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience using people technology.
Previous experience with payroll support and administration within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated passion for serving team members.
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
Ability to problem-solve and develop continuous improvement solutions to better serve team members.
