Audiology near Austin, TX
- Join a team of 1 ENT, 2 NPs and 1 AuD
- Outpatient-Only
- See patients of all ages : infancy to geriatric
- No Call
- Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Administrative Time : 4 hrs / week
- Avg 5-10 patients / day
- Office is conveniently located on the campus of the Medical Center
- Epic EMR
Education / Skills / Experience :
- AuD or master’s degree Required
- Board eligibility or board certification by the American Board of Audiology or American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- 2-3 years of experience preferred
- Active Texas License or ability to attain is required
Duties Include :
- Hearing aid dispensing with cutting-edge technology and fitting / follow up care.
- In house repair and / or cleaning of hearing aids.
- Counseling patients / family members and coordination of patient care with other healthcare professionals.
- Vestibular assessments (ABR’s, VNG’s, etc.)
- Knowledge of assistive listening devices, musician, Hunter, and swim plugs
- Interpret test results / dictate reports for EMR
