POSITION GOAL
To provide assistance to the support of technology environments. To assist with end-user questions and problems to provide an expertise relating to the use of all technology hardware and software, concentrating in the area of user concerns, problems and needs.
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
- Five (5) years of progressively more responsible work experience in the area of computers and technology.
- Demonstrated proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications; familiarity with local area networks;
and well developed communications skills.
The hiring administrator may specify preferred, appropriate additional qualifications as may be related to the job.
- Associate's degree from an accredited community or junior college with a minimum of fifteen (15) semester hours of course work in computer science.
- Three (3) years of progressively more responsible work experience in the area of computers and technology.
- Demonstrated proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications; familiarity with local area networks;
and well developed communications skills.
