We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing maritime projects.

Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Provide technical expertise in engineering design and project management.
- Maintain project documentation and records.
- Review drawings from third parties to ensure accuracy and reliability of information.
- Assist with the creation of build strategies.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Perform risk assessment to minimize and manage project risks.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Development of Test Memos for commission of systems and vessel.
- Assist PM with the coordination of tech reps during vessel commissioning.
- Submit drawings to MSC for any USCG project.
- Create the bill of materials.
Required Skills :
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in engineering design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Understand the requirements of a USCG-classed vessel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
- Strong experience in Suite AutoCAD / Modeling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications :
- Experience in the marine and shipbuilding industry is highly preferred.
- Experience in project management, data analytics, and strategic planning is a plus.
- Knowledge of maritime regulations and industry standards.
Minimum Education : Bachelor's degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
Work Environment Summary : Applicant may be subject to environmental conditions such as cold, heat, exposure to noise, hazards, and confined spaces / close quarters.
Applicant must be able to access all areas of the shipyard and company property including docks. Shipyard work is often noisy and dirty.
