The Director of Architecture is responsible for leading a team of architects responsible for the architectural integrity, performance, and scalability of Oracle Restaurants GIU software.

The ideal candidate will be technically strong, excellent in people management, and possess business acumen. You understand how to balance business needs with solid architecture.

You understand solution excellence and know how to infuse a culture of accountability and ownership within your team. Industry experience is desired.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong communication and presentation skills both executive level and technical level.
  • 10+ years of experience designing / building / supporting enterprise cloud software.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud service providers such as AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • 5+ years of experience with high performance transaction data systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with high performance data analytics.
  • Experience with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka.
  • Experience with distributed systems.
  • Experience with highly scalable systems.
  • Experience with Cloud Native technologies including Kubernetes and Containers.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and Android development.
  • Knowledge of SQL (Oracle a plus).
  • Knowledge of UX design methodologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Direct team of enterprise architects responsible for multiple products including POS, Back Office, Kitchen Management, Labor, and Inventory.
  • Oversee architectural decisions for existing product portfolio.
  • Drive migration path for existing customers to the next generation.
  • Oversee architectural governance.
  • Executive presentations (internal and external).

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US : Hiring Range : from $120,300 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
