Introduction
Manage programs within the global marketing / Ecommerce space and serve as a critical player for execution of our global customer engagement transformation.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented and highly collaborative, with strong communication skills. They are intellectually curious, with analytical skills to develop work plans, anticipate potential delivery risks and offer mitigation strategies.
The Associate Project Manager will collaborate closely with team members across the entire global enterprise, as well as with technology partners and vendors.
Major Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the Director, Operations PMO in governing the portfolio of global customer initiatives that comprise Go-to-Market and Campaign Activation for marketing / Ecommerce operations.
- Create, monitor and control key tasks and milestone timelines for crucial customer engagement periods such as new product introduction and continuous marketing activation.
- Drive the execution of global marketing / Ecommerce Go-to-Market and Launch Activation activities for new products, promotional campaigns and programs.
- Coordinate internal and external resourcing and schedules to ensure on-time program delivery against internal and external commitments.
- Ensure online user guides for all products are published in all applicable languages for easy customer access, and at the applicable time to support new launches.
- Develop and maintain program artifacts, such as roadmaps, requirements and change logs throughout program execution.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of programs, schedules and dependencies to identify potential risks and proactively act to bring visibility and recommend solutions.
- Communicate program requirements, schedule and health to global stakeholders in a manner that draws attention to upcoming milestones, key dependencies and needed corrective action.
- Partner with Director, Operations PMO to establish and continually refine lean and sustainable processes to efficiently manage day-to-day operations, team deliverable handoffs and communication cadence.
- Master the basics’, such as advance meeting agendas, efficient meeting facilitation and prompt distribution of notes and action items.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Clear and demonstrated understanding of program management best practices (Agile, managing WIP, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage concurrent programs and deadlines.
- Team player highly interested in process improvement and playing an integral role in successful global launches and initiatives.
- Ecommerce Go-To-Market experience.
- Highly proficient with digital project management software and tools (e.g., Atlassian’s Jira and Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.).
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Sharp business acumen, with the ability to effectively collaborate with global cross-functional teams.
Qualifications (Education & Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
- 2 3 years of experience as a project and / or program manager.
