Are you seeking a new role in the mechanical design field? Selectek needs a Mechanical Drafter / Detailer for a client located near Marietta, Georgia.
Candidates will be utilizing CAD programs to design HVAC and plumbing systems for large-scale commercial projects.
Employment Type : Contract to Direct
Expected Pay Range : $27-$35 per hour, based on experience and education
Location : Marietta, Georgia
Job Duties :
- Design shop drawings of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems
- Create drawings to be used for fabrication, installation, and project closeouts
- Work with the VDC team to coordinate installations and minimize clashes / conflicts on job sites
- Interface with clients and customers
- Maintain company design standards and integrity
- Troubleshoot design issues and work collaboratively with a team of designers
Job Requirements :
- Minimum of three years working with commercial HVAC and plumbing systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Ideal candidates have BIM coordination experience and knowledge of the fabrication process.
