We currently operate a chain of convenience stores around the area and are hiring for our RoadDog store in Moraine, OH! Every employee at Duncan Oil Co.

The RoadDog Convenience Store Shift Lead will assist in overseeing the operation of the store during their shift and provide guidance to Associates on achieving the maximum sale of fuel, and other in-store merchandise, processing transactions at the point of sale, and assisting in the overall operations at the store providing the best customer service as a priority.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Lead store associates in accordance with company policy and procedures, to maximize store profits
- Lead in the training, motivating, and mentoring of Store Associates
- Lead in building an atmosphere that demonstrates pride in teamwork and in serving the customer
- Responsible for safeguarding the store, cash, and inventory control
- Ensure the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the facility
- Assist with required paperwork accurately and timely as per company standards
- Assist with all other store tasks and activities assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a prompt, cooperative, and enthusiastic manner
Requirements :
- Preferred minimum of 2 years in a convenience store or retail industry
- Preferred minimum of 1 year of management experience
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, this includes evenings and weekend shifts
- Ability to operate computer programs to complete associate and management tasks
