Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Insurance Adjuster with a strong background in Liability and Property claims.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently, with the ability to investigate, analyze, and adjudicate claims.
Experience in Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and the ability to identify red flags is highly preferred.
As a critical member of our claims team, you will be responsible for handling multiple claims daily, ensuring thorough evaluations, timely adjudications, and adherence to policy terms.
You should possess a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively read and interpret insurance policies.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and adjudicate a high-volume caseload of 6-10 claims per day, including liability and property claims.
Investigate claims thoroughly, including evaluating evidence, interviewing relevant parties, and reviewing related documentation.
Analyze liability and coverage issues based on policy language.
Identify and investigate red flags related to potential fraud or policy violations, referring to SIU when necessary.
Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, legal professionals, and internal teams to ensure claims are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the team on complex claims or issues requiring special attention.
Handle claims related to repossessions, which are increasing in frequency.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as an Insurance Adjuster, with a background in Liability claims (Property experience is a plus).
SIU experience preferred, with a strong ability to identify red flags in claims.
Ability to read and interpret insurance policies, assess coverage, and apply policy terms to claims adjudication.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume workload.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple claims simultaneously.
Relevant certifications (adjuster license) are a plus.
