A growing LNG company in Louisiana is seeking a dynamic HR professional to oversee talent acquisition, compliance, employee relations, and performance management for its team in Cameron, LA.
The role involves creating innovative staffing solutions, writing compelling job descriptions, and developing policies that align with the company's mission and culture.
Responsibilities include :
- Serving as the primary HR contact for the Calcasieu Pass facility.
- Managing the full recruiting cycle, from job description creation to candidate selection.
- Coaching leadership and employees on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
- Advising on compliance and employment law matters.
- Overseeing employee onboarding, off-boarding, and benefits administration.
- Developing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and local laws while enhancing company culture.
Qualifications :
- Five or more years of HR generalist experience, with a passion for the impact HR can have within an organization. Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is a plus.
- At least three years of talent acquisition experience in a high-growth environment, with familiarity in managing job mapping, interview processes, and candidate selection.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with keen attention to detail.
- Collaborative, service-oriented mindset, with the ability to build strong relationships and respond to team needs.
- Growth-oriented, with a desire to improve personal performance and welcome feedback.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability when facing unexpected challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to coach others in effective communication.
- Familiarity with ATS and HRIS systems (experience with Greenhouse and ADP Workforce Now is a plus).
