Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the Design and Development efforts on a few assigned projects, working under close supervision with R&D management and senior R&D staff
- Plan, execute, generate or obtain results, and evaluate the data from all experiments (lab and / or production scale) agreed upon with management input.
- Prepare all required reports as directed.
- Adhere to all Design Control Procedures, Safety Policies, Environments Policies, and other facility requirements where the work is conducted
- Support and collaborate with all individuals within the company as directed to achieve the results required by assigned projects
- Attend internal and external meetings, conferences as directed.
- Formulations of coatings which would include ability to evaluate surfactants, dispersants, defoamers and both inorganic and polymeric fillers in order to make a stable and effective coating.
Education
BS in Chemistry
Knowledge and Experience
- 0-4 years’ experience in Industry in an R&D capacity
- Beginner data analysis skills to form solid conclusions
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and oral)
- Fluency in using relevant software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other similar tools
- The self-motivation and ability to operate routinely in a fast-paced environment as demonstrated from previous experience
- Ability to learn the Stage gate process and document maintenance
- The ability to work collaboratively and harmoniously with other departments and R&D colleagues to achieve successful commercialization of projects within the timelines required.
