The VP, Healthcare Delivery (VPHD) is the strategic leader responsible for the organization's health care delivery system strategies and population health initiatives.
The VPHD develops external-facing strategies to engage with payers, providers, and community partners. They oversee value-based care programs, lead the development of new payment models and quality improvement efforts, while driving physician and provider engagement.
The VPHD leads the rollout of advanced data analytics platforms to support population health management. As a clinical expert, the VPHD provides guidance on care management programs.
They collaborate cross-functionally to align health care delivery with the organization's broader goals. This executive role requires experience in value-based care, population health, and health care operations.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as the key executive responsible for the overall strategy, operations, and performance of the organization's health care delivery system.
- Develop and execute external facing strategies to engage with payers, health systems, community partners, and other key stakeholders to drive innovation and improve population health outcomes.
- Lead efforts to strengthen physician and provider engagement, including developing and introducing new payment models, care coordination initiatives, and quality improvement programs.
- Oversee the rollout and optimization of the Arcadia data analytics platform to support value-based care, risk stratification, and population health management.
- Champion the organization's primary care transformation strategy, including implementing new care delivery models, enhancing access and experience, and aligning payment structures.
- Serve as a clinical expert and strategic advisor for case management, utilization management, and other care management programs to drive appropriate utilization and improved outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders in actuarial, analytics, digital, network contracting, quality, and other areas to ensure cohesive execution of the health care delivery strategy.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure the success of health care delivery initiatives and inform continuous improvement.

Education :
Advanced degree in Medicine ( or
Experience :
- Strong clinical background and credibility with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Extensive experience in health care operations, population health management, and value-based care delivery
- Proven track record of leading successful initiatives to engage physicians and other providers
- Expertise in developing and implementing data-driven, evidence-based strategies to improve quality, access, and cost-effectiveness of care
