Software Project Manager

Dunn Solutions is a digital transformation consultancy, which works with companies to change the way they work with their employees, vendors, and customers.

We are currently looking for a Software Project Manager / Business Analyst to add to our dynamic team!

This person will work directly with our clients and technical team to uncover business needs, create functional requirements, gather and analyze work group data, manage the work plan and delivery of our business solutions, and be the bridge between the business and technology.

This role will also research best practices and identify documenting process improvements and functional specifications.

This a fast-paced role, which offers the ability to learn new technologies on a deeper level and work closely with our dedicated staff.

Experience (US only) and Education

• 4+ years of Software Development Project Management / Business Analysis required
• A proven history of supporting application development projects from a BA standpoint
• Internal or customer user interface applications in either web applications or mobile space
• Previous experience working in an agile environment and using recognized development methodology; e.g., Agile, Scrum and Kanban
• Proficient in documenting As-Is and To-Be processes
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
• Strong communication skills that allow for effective communication across all levels of the organization
• Written communication skills, including process documentation, user stories / cases, and project process
• Ability to lead meetings with key stakeholders, internal employees, contractors and clients (including those in c-level positions)
• MUST have BS / BA degree in Marketing, Business, or related

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, define and document project requirements and business processes
• Create technical and functional user documentation, creative deliverables, project budget and timeline
• Contribute to the development of new tools, processes and solutions to meet desired product needs
• Gather business requirements and translate them into user stories / functional specifications
• Develop systems specifications, process flows and conversion strategies
• Work with development teams, internal IT and business to ensure project is being completed, per expectations outlined in agreements
• Work between remote development teams, internal IT and business to ensure requirements are being met
• Perform analysis on existing systems; identifying options for potential solutions and assets for both technical and business suitability

Preferred Skills

• Business Analysis experience is a plus
• Familiarity with E-Commerce and Digital Marketing
• Familiarity tracking Agile projects via JIRA
• Love of cutting-edge technology
• Desire to learn skills and try new processes
• Ability to multi-task and keep calm under pressure
• Possess a positive and outgoing attitude
• Ability to lead and work as part of a team
