Responsibilities :
- Engage in holistic assessments to understand students' motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
- Craft creative and effective intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Deliver engaging occupational therapy services in diverse settings, including individual sessions and group activities.
- Partner with teachers to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines and activities.
- Champion student progress through ongoing monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with the IEP team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Virginia state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric occupational therapy within an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for creativity, innovation, and student-centered care.
