We arecurrently seeking a highly skilled Director of Heart Failure andTransplantation to join our team. This role is crucial for leadingour heart failure and transplantation program deliveringexceptional patient care and advancing the field of cardiovascularmedicine.

JobDescription :

We are looking for a Directorof Heart Failure and Transplantation to lead and manage the heartfailure program oversee the heart transplant team and provideexpert care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.

Theideal candidate will have a deep commitment to clinical excellenceresearch and program development.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Leadthe heart failure and transplantation program including clinicalcare research and education.
  • Oversee amultidisciplinary team of physicians surgeons nurses and alliedhealth professionals.
  • Develop and implementclinical protocols guidelines and standards of care for heartfailure and transplantationpatients.
  • Collaborate with other departments tointegrate services and provide comprehensive patientcare.
  • Drive the growth and development of theheart failure and transplant program including expanding patientaccess and service offerings.
  • Engage in ongoingresearch activities to advance the field of heart failure andtransplantation.
  • Participate in the recruitmenttraining and mentorship of medical staff andtrainees.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance withregulatory and accreditationrequirements.
  • Conduct regular performanceevaluations of medical staff providing feedback and developmentopportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between theprogram and other departments external partners and regulatorybodies.

Qualifications :

  • Medical degree from an accreditedinstitution.
  • Board certification in cardiologywith a focus on heart failure andtransplantation.
  • Active medical license inState Name.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience ina leadership role within a heart failure or transplantprogram.
  • Proven expertise in managing complexcardiovascular cases including hearttransplants.
  • Strong leadership andinterpersonal skills with a commitment to multidisciplinarycollaboration.
  • Track record of research andpublications in the field of heart failure andtransplantation.
  • Familiarity with healthcareregulations and accreditation standards related totransplantation.
  • Willingness to work flexiblehours including oncall responsibilities asneeded.
