Are you an accounting student striving for CPA eligibility and looking for a full-time opportunity in Consulting? At Forvis Mazars, you can use your critical thinking abilities to help clients solve problems or apply your social skills to build rewarding business relationships.
You will work with clients in the Financial Services industry as you develop your technical skills and strengthen the foundation on which you will build your career.
You will be coached by our experienced staff and management personnel. As your skill set grows, you will assume greater responsibility and actively participate in determining your career path.
How you will contribute :
- Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
- Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers
- Performing Automated Clearing House audits for financial services clients
- Completing internal audit testing of operational areas
- Performing walk through testing of internal control processes
- Helping to draft internal audit reports
- Maintaining confidentiality of firm and customer information, without exception, internally and externally at all times
- Adhering to firm policies and procedures governing the safety and security of all firm employees, property, and assets
- Complying with all related state and federal laws and regulations, and firm policies and procedures applicable to the position

Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting required
- Applicants for this position must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state in which your office will be located
- Solid technical accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications :
- Prior internships in a public accounting firm performing audit work
