Position Summary
The Department of Emergency MedicineConsortium is looking to hire a motivated professional to serve as the ProgramManager.
The primary role of this position will be to manage and oversee allaspects of the EMS Medbow program to ensure efficiency and allow greatercoverage of event medicine.
This will be a multifaceted position and willinclude oversight of the program's budget, program operations and developmentof standard operating procedures for the overall success of the program.
Under indirect supervision, oversees theoperational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of amultifaceted program / project typically consisting of a set of closely relatedsubprograms or associated activities funded through local- and / or state-levelcontracts / grants.
Oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, and humanresources management of the program(s). Seeks and develops outside fundingsources and maintains responsibility for the appropriate use of programmaticfunds within the parameters of the contract(s) / grant(s), up to approximately $1million per fiscal year.
Serves as principal point of representation andliaison with external constituencies on the local and state level onoperational matters, and provides day-to-day technical / professional guidanceand leadership as appropriate to the area of expertise.
The program / project isusually focused on a single purpose; may be scientific, research, education,and / or service-oriented, and is usually funded through contract / grantprovisions.
This is typically a term position tied to the contract / grantfunding period, which requires approval by Human Resources before use.
Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience 2 of which are management level experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
