The Opportunity : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated candidate to join our NTCSS Team at Norfolk, VA as a Web UI / UX Developer on our critical web migration project. In this role, you\'ll transform complex legacy systems into modern, user-friendly web applications for DoD Business IT systems. You\'ll collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to create intuitive, accessible, and secure user interfaces that meet the highest standards of government and military requirements.

Remote work note : For this role, remote workers will be considered who meet the qualifications and have experience working successfully in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, accessible web interfaces for DoD Business IT systems
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts before implementation
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end elements with server-side logic
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance across various devices
• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback
• Troubleshoot and debug UI / UX issues to ensure seamless user experience
• Implement and maintain design systems and component libraries
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
• Document development processes and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
