Responsible for maintenance and repair work for buildings and machinery.
Principal Responsibilities :
- Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, and painting repairs
- Implement and perform preventative maintenance on machinery
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Respond to work orders to repair equipment
- Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
- Manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) book and log. Audit yearly for compliance.
- Use proper Lock Out Tag Out equipment and procedures and perform maintenance operations in a safe manner
- Ability to lift, turn, twist, load / unload objects
- Maintain current, overall, and job specific trainings and requirements
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner
- Other duties as assigned
Safe Practice Guidelines / Required Personal Protective Equipment :
- Safety glasses with side shields as required
- Steel toed safety shoes as required
- Gloves as required
- Earplugs as required
- Seat belts required on all Forklifts
Qualifications and Educational Requirements :
Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
HVAC experience
CNC experience
- Detail Oriented
- Manage time with little to no supervision, self-motivated
- Mechanically inclined
- Hydraulic and electrical repair experience
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years of maintenance and electrical experience
- Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record
