The Business Operations Specialist will lead the development and execution of internal business initiatives, strategies or programs to support organizational goals.

Accomplishes results through leading, planning, and implementing methods, strategies, and business initiatives. Interacts with internal staff, clients / customers, subcontractors, and applicable departments.

Manages staff engaged in roles that directly support business operations in an effort to achieve the strategic goals of the organization.

Accomplishes results through leading the development and execution of internal business initiatives and strategies or programs such as budgeting, project and communication management, policy and procedure development and strategic planning.

The Business Operations Specialist will provide an on-boarding experience that fulfils the promise of a most-desired employer, reimagine client administrative engagement to improve efficiency and elevate the IDeaS client experience, elevate performance visibility and accountability for International Account Management regions, and foster a culture of mutual success through collaboration, organizational awareness and knowledge sharing.

What you’ll be doing...

  • Assist and manage onboarding and training of new IAM team members in IAM tools, operations, process, procedures, IAM playbooks and Client Business reviews in coordination with HR
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to identify pain points and bottlenecks that cause unnecessary friction, and improve and simplify processes to drive higher productivity
  • Establish and document universal best practices for recurring events in servicing clients
  • coordinate with finance in client invoicing and alignment with MPAs.
  • Prioritize and execute SFDC Opportunity, Quote, Legal Agreement, Order Form, and other tasks as required, to optimize strategic and revenue goals
  • Track and enhance new Business to IAM handover processes and visibility
  • Evolve MPA renewal process
  • Help in Enabling IAM monitoring of user metrics in collaboration with Client Success for account health and proactive support (client dashboard)
  • Evaluate and streamline the systems employed to perform IAM functions in coordination with DG.
  • Establish Business Review (BR) process from preparation to in-the-room to post-BR activities Support reps in the preparation of Business Reviews
  • Support planning and execution of go-to market strategies help identify barriers to entry and report on performance in coordination with product marketing.
  • Enhance upsell processes
  • Regular engagement with IAM and Sales leadership to review performance of joint accounts, track against plans, identify potential hurdles and problems that need solving
  • Create a role-specific IAM onboarding program in collaboration with internal training resources
  • Manage the onboarding of new IAM team members in coordination with HR and regional teams
  • Collaborate with SFDC Teams, DG Team, Finance and Contract Admin to refine Quote to Legal Agreement process for IAM
  • Collate and communicate changes to IAM Global, ensures Knowledge Articles are updated in line with changes and provides additional training and support as needed
  • Ownership of Knowledge Article should sit with DG
  • Engages and collaborates with DG to solve SFDC business problems and addressed areas of concerns to drive mutually beneficial business outcomes
  • Acts as the voice of IAM pre and post SFDC releases and ensures regional client and business needs are accounted for
  • Coordinate SFDC Admins task assignment and performance with regional teams
  • Evaluate and refine the Business Review (BR) process from preparation to in-the-room to post-BR activities
  • Support annual IAM budgeting process and tracking-to-goal throughout the year, identifying areas of strength, weakness and potential by region
  • Coordinate IAM training and development activities with Enablement
  • Establish and maintain ongoing product education for the IAM role
  • Collaborate with IAM leadership and interdepartmental partners to establish theme and content for IDeaS Global Kick Off and IDeaS Client Summit
  • Manage intra-IAM news / communications such as wins, client or industry developments

What you’ll bring to us

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Typically requires eight years of related experience.
  • Two years of experience in a leadership role. For individuals performing primarily project / program management duties, Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification desirable or equivalent professional training preferred
  • Strong knowledge and competence in related business functional areas
  • Ability to lead and motivate an organization, develop creative solutions to problems, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to conceptualize client needs and translate them into specific implementation strategies
  • Superior problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated business knowledge as well as an understanding of SAS internal processes
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Public speaking experience
  • Travel as business requirements dictate at management discretion
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
