Maintenance Technician II

Our inpatient facility houses 22 clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. Our remodeled facility is located in Concord, CA.

Positions available : Full Time : Days Monday-Friday Benefits : Competitive pay 10 days paid vacation 10 holidays / 5 sick days per year Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits with NO monthly premium for employee 401K with a company match of up to 3% Accident & life Insurance Description : Maintenance Technician II goal is to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and to support the company’s business operations.

Oversees the repair and maintenance of buildings and mechanical equipment installed in these buildings. They ensure timely installation and upkeep of the company’s property and appliance systems to ensure operational effectiveness.

They will have a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. They will be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will also have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc. Duties, Responsibilities and Required Skills : Must demonstrate ability to work effectively under a substantial workload, time constraints, frequent interruptions, and conflicting and / or shifting priorities.

Make recommendations to maintain a proper inventory of supplies and tools sufficient for turning units Dismantling machines or equipment, replacing defective parts and motors, and adjusting feed mechanisms Replacing or repairing machine belts Removing dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines Cutting out and joining parts for worktables, benches, shelves, and other furnishings Painting machines or equipment to prevent corrosion Bending and cutting conduit and wire, and drills holes in walls, floors, and ceilings for electrical connections Emphasizes the commitment to performing all work in compliance with environmental procedures with crafts and contractors Understands budget requirements for plant equipment and systems maintenance.

Follow through with implementation of approved projects General computer skills in Microsoft Office Assist with repairs and parts orders, and communicate any concerns to team leaders Able to accurately perform measurements and basic math Other duties as assigned.

Required education and experience : 3+ of experience in maintenance or a related field Possess CPR / First Aid certification (May be obtained before starting) Current TB test and health screen (May be obtained before starting) Valid Driver's CA License Preferred education and experience : High School diploma or GED equivalent OSHA 10 Certification Knowledge of maintenance software Sierra Health and Wellness are a Californi a network of leading behavioral health and rehab centers for adults and families who suffer from addiction to alcohol, opiates, amphetamines and other addictive substances.
