What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role :

  • Outgoing and Driven Personality Resilience and the ability to persevere are key. No experience necessary (paid training provided).
  • Physical Endurance Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and walking 4-8 miles daily (sometimes more) as you connect with potential customers in the community.
  • Driver's License and Reliable Transportation Maintain a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to dependable personal transportation (mileage reimbursed).
  • Availability Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, which are prime opportunities to engage customers.
  • Preference for Outdoor Work Embrace working outside and being on the go, as this role involves minimal time in an office.

As a Residential Outside Sales Executive, you'll connect people and communities by offering best-in-class fiber-optic internet services to new customers in assigned territories.

You'll generate your own leads through direct community engagement, as well as follow up on leads generated by our marketing team.

  • Be active in your community daily, prospecting with in-person visits (85%), door hangs, calls, email campaigns, social media, and attending local events.
  • Focus on selling new and existing Clearwave Fiber internet services, mostly in rural areas where communities are eager for faster, reliable internet.
  • Build relationships and develop personal sales leads by establishing your presence within your assigned territory.
  • Host community events and participate in trade fairs, city events, and informational sessions, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Support customers with basic technical issues as needed.
  • Track and report your sales activity and results via CRM software.

What You'll Need to Be Successful :

  • Self-Drive and Motivation A proactive approach with the ambition to seek out new sales opportunities.
  • Outdoor Enthusiasm Comfortable working outside, regardless of weather conditions, and maintaining an active, mobile approach to sales.
  • Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and access to a dependable vehicle (business mileage reimbursed).
  • Flexible Availability Able to commit to fieldwork Monday through Friday (11 AM to 7 PM) and work during peak sales times.
  • Tech Proficiency Familiarity with computer systems and basic skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Education High school diploma or GED required.

Nice to Have, But Not Required :

Prior sales experience or knowledge of fiber optic broadband is helpful but not required, as we provide full training.
