Job Description & Responsibilities :
- Perform all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures.
- Produce high-quality radiographs with a minimum of repeats while applying radiation and physical safety measures.
- Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
- Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam.
- Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
- Oversee duties assigned to student radiographers.
- Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system.
MUST HAVE : Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT If registry
eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment, & BLS (AHA) or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
Education & Experience Requirements : Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA and 2 year of relevant experience required.
