Quality Supervisor

We are currently partnered with an Aerospace Manufacturing Company in their search to add a Quality Supervisor to the team due to an internal promotion. This Quality Supervisor will report into the Director of Quality and will oversee a team of four quality professionals. The Quality Supervisor will be instrumental in driving product quality, process improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Job Description

The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for the following :

• Supervise, train, and mentor quality inspectors, technicians, and other quality personnel.
• Manage daily quality control activities, including first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final product release.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Review nonconformance reports, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and maintain high standards of compliance.
• Oversee calibration programs, gage R&R, and measurement system analyses.
• Participate in customer audits, regulatory audits, and internal quality system audits.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics, including defect trends, rework, scrap, and supplier performance.
• Support the Quality Manager in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and reduce variation.
• Promote a safety-first, compliance-driven, and quality-focused culture.
