The Avery Agency is looking to welcome our next Insurance Sales Apprentice! This position can be fully or partially remote if desired.
This is an ideal position for those with an entrepreneurial mindset or who are looking to launch themselves into a career path that ends in owning your own business.
In this role, you will learn the tricks of the trade from the best in the business and get the mentorship you need to know how to sell, solicit, differentiate, and negotiate insurance plans to build your own book of business.
Start to earn as you learn from the very beginning with no prior insurance experience required! Just bring your drive, motivation, and eagerness to learn and grow in the role.

Responsibilities
Client Consultation : Engage with policyholders, understand their insurance requirements, and provide tailored suggestions.
Outbound Calls : Proactively reach out to leads, presenting insurance products and services in a clear and compelling manner.
Policy Customization : Devise and propose insurance plans that match each client's unique needs.
Policy Presentations : Explain policy details, coverage options, and benefits to clients, ensuring they understand their insurance choices.
Cross-selling : Identify opportunities to enhance client coverage by bundling or expanding their policies.
Relationship Building : Cultivate lasting relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Lead Management : Follow up with leads, provide necessary information, and guide them through the insurance purchasing process.
Customer Follow-Up : Maintain relationships with clients, address any concerns or
questions, and provide ongoing support as needed.
Continuous Learning : Stay informed about industry trends and updates to offer well-informed guidance.
Requirements
Licensure : Possess appropriate insurance license in the state of Missouri OR have a willingness to obtain needed licenses.
Experience : Previous experience in insurance sales or a related field is advantageous.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients.
Client-focused : Strong dedication to meeting and exceeding client expectations.
Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a remote work environment while maintaining productivity and collaboration.
Team Player : Capable of working cooperatively with a team, fostering a positive team environment.
Technological Proficiency : Familiarity with CRM software and other communication tools is beneficial.
