The Job / What You'll Do :

The Manager, Advisor Journey Marketing Lead leads drives marketing initiatives targeted at advisors, helping to attract, nurture, and grow on our platform.

This role involves developing marketing strategies, creating content, and developing advisor journeys that support events and other campaigns to drive a deeper engagement with AssetMark.

The ideal candidate is proactive, client-minded, has a strong understanding of the financial services industry, and has experience in marketing.

This role will also manage the content strategists for the team to ensure that the advisor voice and strategy for reaching our clients is optimized.

We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to one of our following offices : Concord, CA, Phoenix, AZ, or Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities :

Marketing Strategy Development :

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract, retain, and grow advisors.
  • Collaborate with sales, service, and marketing to understand the advisor's needs and develop tailored marketing plans.
  • Align marketing initiatives with sales and AssetMark's overall goals and brand messaging.
  • Lead the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social media, webinars, and events.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Advisor Marketing Programs :

Persona and Buyer Journeys - Develop a deep understanding of prospective and existing Advisors by employing traditional and innovative customer research methods.

Segmentation is critical to the success of our marketing programs and initiatives.

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to communicate results and insights to stakeholders.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine and optimize marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, service, and digital, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to keep the marketing strategy current and competitive.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Salesforce and marketing automation systems.
  • Works collaboratively and well in team settings.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills

Education & Experience :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services, particularly in financial advisory or wealth management sectors.
  • Experience with content management systems and digital asset management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

Compensation : The Base Salary range for this position is between $95,000-$140,000.

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location.

This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
