Position Overview

We are looking for an organized, cheerful, and dependable assistant to aid the manager in maintaining office duties. Prior clerical, some computer experience (MS Word / Excel), and strong attention to detail required.

Position includes detailed record keeping, data collection via phone calls, general organization, some cleaning and errands.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities will be :

  • Overseeing clerical tasks, such as sorting and sending documents
  • Maintaining files and any data entry
  • Welcoming visitors to your office
  • Answering phone calls
  • Taking and delivering messages
  • Calling clients to obtain information for future meetings
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure the workspace is organized.

Proficiencies

This role requires a good sense of enthusiasm and stamina, and being friendly, caring and patient. It also requires the ability to work as a team, show initiative, be alert and have a good sense of judgement.

Job Requirements

  • Must reside in Houston, TX
  • Availability to work (specific days) per week, with the possibility of overtime
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Apps
  • Attention to detail, well organized, excellent communication skills
  • Prefer 1 year customer service experience
