Why You Matter :

This role will have a strong emphasis on associate relations and HR support for the office. As a Lantech HR Generalist, you will be expected to carry out HR's functional support responsibilities in the areas of : Talent Acquisition / Recruitment, Onboarding, Safety, Compliance, HR Systems and Programs, Associate Engagement, Training and Development, Compensation and Performance Management.

You will champion the HR practices and objectives that will support and sustain an associate-oriented, high-engagement culture.

With this role you will be engaged with a variety of community programs, including KY FAME, Big Brothers Big Sister, JCTC, and others.

As an HR Generalist, you will be expected to proactively administer the HR policies, procedures, and programs in support of the changing needs of our organization, associate teams, and external business environment.

What are We Looking For? (Requirements)

We are looking for someone who :

  • Possesses excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Has effective oral and written communication.
  • Exhibits excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Can provide evidence of the practice to apply a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Has exceptional organizational, analytical, and public speaking skills.
  • Is aligned with and a role model of HR and Lantech's cultural values and principles .
  • Is legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Education & Experience :

  • 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience and success in Human Resource Generalist activities.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Previous experience developing and executing recruiting marketing and branding strategies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or equivalent (required).

Desired Skills :

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is preferred
  • Past experience with HR Compliance is strongly preferred
  • Past experience with compensation is strongly preferred
  • LEAN Manufacturing Support
  • EH&S Administration and Compliance
  • ATS experience (Currently Applicant Pro)
