Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide technical support for the Technical Advisory and Assistance Services (TAAS) program at Hanscom AFB.

Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, implement, and administer information systems for the acquisition, storage, and retrieval of data.
- Perform the daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client / server, or cloud based.
- Perform system administration duties for existing AF systems for mission critical applications across a variety of software and hardware platforms in use by the different groups.
- Ensure the rigorous application of information security / cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of data management services.
- Support access control for SharePoint groups as needed and support group administrators to maintain their SharePoint data effectively and securely.
- Optimize system operation and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Aid users in accessing and using business systems.
- Design, normalize, develop, install, and implement databases and database management software.
- Evaluate, plan, design, develop, and deploy new information systems as directed by leadership within the available AF toolset.
- Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines, and critical paths required for complete solutions.
