JOB DESCRIPTION

• A Level99 Systems Administrator will be involved with the installation, configuration, and updating hardware and software;
• establishing and managing user accounts; overseeing or conducting backup and recovery tasks; implementing operational and technical security controls;

and adhering to organizational security policies and procedures. Collaborating with the IT Leadership team, this role will operate in a hands-on role, leading and implementing our suite of technical solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage Venue Systems (such as Game Controllers, Network, POS) and lead troubleshooting and solutioning for failures, providing direction and escalation.
• Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance and change control.
• Create documentation, validation checks, and other processes / tools as needed to reduce friction and increase quality of new Venue open setup.
• Identify challenges in new openings and create solutions to relieve friction for team & guest. Identify bottlenecks and work with the team to improve the scalability of new open processes.
• Lead setup, configuration, and administration of systems, tracking necessary version updates, implementation of change control rules, nonbusiness configuration, and coordination of adding additional modules, plugins and integrations.
• Collaborate with technology vendors, identifying areas of opportunity and potential areas of growth.
• Work closely with Operations, Creative and Software development teams to identify challenges and create solutions to relieve friction for team & guest.
• Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance and system performance.
• Manage and stage server hardware at venue locations, ensuring proper configuration and maintenance.
• Coordinate hardware deployments, upgrades, and replacements.
• Implement and manage MDM solutions to ensure the security and efficiency of mobile devices within the organization.
• Procurement and staging of corporate laptops and desktops.
• Administer and maintain Windows, MacOS, Android and Linux / Ubuntu operating systems on various devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve OS-related issues and provide support to end-users as needed.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• 2-4 years experience in IT, Computer Information Systems, a related field of study or equivalent work experience.
• Understanding of computer network infrastructure with proven experience in network administration, security, architecture, and hardware management.
• Experience with firewall, AP, and switch management.
• Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and MFA / 2FA solutions.
• Proficiency in Windows and / or Linux operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
• Ability to think through problems, visualize solutions and work with all levels of staff inside and outside the organization.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Travel, as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable and flexible when necessary.
• A positive, joyful, upbeat and energetic attitude leading by example.
