Guidex Group is proud to partner with a precision sheet metal job shop that is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team. This is a long-term career opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a hands-on, detail-oriented environment and is looking to grow with a stable and respected company.

Program CNC machines using Surfcam software.

  • Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T drawings to ensure precise outputs.
  • Apply shop math to create accurate and efficient programs.
  • Operate CNC equipment as needed to support production.
  • Verify work using precision measurement tools to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Deliver work on schedule while meeting client and production requirements.

Skills & Tools You’ll Use

  • Programming & Software : Surfcam
  • Measurement Tools : Micrometers (0–3"), Calipers (0–6"), Depth Mics (0–3"), Blade Mics
  • Machines : FADAL VMC Mills (some with 4th axis), HAAS CNC Mills
  • Controls : Fadal CNC-88, HAAS

    Requirements

    What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience (Surfcam strongly preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of shop math and machining practices.
  • Experience operating CNC mills in a production environment.
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and reliability.
  • Strong communication skills in English (oral and written).

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license or government-issued ID.
  • Social Security card required.
