Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support Commander, Naval Surface Forces Pacific (CNSP) and Afloat Training Group Pacific (ATGPAC) as a Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Trainer and Analyst - Casualty Control.

This position emphasizes the importance of training and certification of ships in the Pacific Fleet, particularly focusing on the role of a Combat System Officer of the Watch (CSOOW).

The BMD Trainer and Analyst - Casualty Control is vital for the effective training and operational readiness of the Pacific Fleet.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in combat systems, specifically Aegis BMD platforms, along with experience in training personnel and evaluating operational procedures.

This position will involve collaboration with various commands to ensure that the fleet is well-prepared and capable of immediate deployment in response to operational challenges.

The emphasis will be on maintaining high training standards and implementing best practices in combat systems operations.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to :

• Training and Certification :
• Ensure the training and certification of all ships in the Pacific Fleet, with a focus on Aegis BMD and equivalent platforms.
• Operational Support :
• Function as a qualified Combat System Officer of the Watch (CSOOW) on an Aegis BMD platform, ensuring effective management of combat systems during operations.
• Training and Evaluation :
• Train unit personnel on restoration procedures for Combat Systems casualties and evaluate casualty control procedures as part of the training team.
• Quality Control and Data Analysis :
• Assist in quality assurance and data analysis to improve training standards and operational readiness.
• Program Development :
• Provide recommendations for enhancing training standards and develop programs that focus on best business practices in combat systems operations.
• Systems Administration :
• Support systems administration efforts related to training programs, ensuring that all training materials and resources are accurate and accessible.

Requirements : Experience :

Experience :

• Surface Navy Experience :
• 2 years of surface navy experience as a qualified Combat System Officer of the Watch (CSOOW) on an Aegis BMD platform or equivalent.
• Training Experience :
• Experience in training unit personnel on restoration procedures for combat systems casualties and evaluating casualty control procedures.

Knowledge Areas :

• AEGIS Combat Systems :
• In-depth knowledge of AEGIS Combat Systems and casualty control procedures relevant to combat systems.
• BMD Technical Systems :
• Understanding of BMD technical systems, specifically regarding Tactical Data Link (TDL) casualties on BMD ships.
• BMD Tactics and Technical Systems :
• Familiarity with BMD tactics, technical systems, and instructions, including requirements outlined in the COMNAVSURFORINST 8820.

2 series and related tactical memorandums.

• BMD Command and Control :
• Knowledge of BMD Command and Control issues, particularly in relation to surveillance, engagement, and planning functions required for various numbered fleets.

Security Clearance :

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
