Overview :
We are looking for a qualified Full-Time Maintenance Technician. Foreside has over 1 billion in real estate assets under management and we are looking to double our maintenance staff.
We need to add a few highly skilled carpenters. The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a great team and have a great attitude.
A good job candidate should have prior general maintenance knowledge and experience, be professional and self-motivated. Must be able to perform strenuous physical tasks, such as loading and unloading of various building materials and tools.
They also need to work great independently and in a team, follow instructions and communicate effectively. Must possess the following skills :
Job Description :
- Performs a wide variety of general and semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, light electrical
- Ensures all repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
- Demonstrates superior customer service.
- Ability to identify, diagnose and fix a variety of maintenance issues and notify management when a licensed professional is needed
- Loading and unloading building materials and tools
- Being compliant with all health and safety regulations
- Following instructions and completing work orders online
Job Requirements :
- 1 year experience in repairs and maintenance preferred
- Skilled in maintenance activities such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, light electrical
- Ability to work independently and with other team members
- Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues
- Desire to provide excellent customer service
- A sense of pride in your work
- Ability to communicate well with people
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Physical requirements include frequent need to lift and carry heavy objects
- Part of on call rotation
- Must have own tools
