The salary range for this position is dependent on experience level ranging from $88,000 to $120,000.
Job Summary :
The Project Manager, Gas Engineering, is responsible for leading and coordinating multiple complex activities. This includes partnering with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate planning, design, execution, monitoring and closeout of Research & Development and Integrity Management Program projects.
The Project Manager will manage high value, varying duration projects primarily located in New York.
Major Roles and Responsibilities :
- Analyzes project performance and initiates actions to control scope, schedule, and cost performance.
- Coordinates with project stakeholders including other departments, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
- Develops and maintains detailed schedules and risk management plans.
- Executes and manages multiple procurement efforts for design and construction.
- Utilizes schedule management techniques to monitor project progress.
- Ensures a safe work environment through adherence to processes and safety metrics.

- Ability to mobilize matrixed team members to deliver projects on time and under budget.
- Expert in risk management and mitigation plans.
- Development of cost loaded, critical path project schedules.
- Public presentation skills and ability to summarize concepts utilizing scheduling software tools.
- Knowledge of main configuration and general arrangements of networks infrastructure.
Experience / Training :
- Experienced in managing construction projects.
- Experienced in contract negotiations and supplier management.
- Proven experience obtaining siting permits.
- Project Management Professional Certification preferred.
Required Education :
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years relevant experience required. Degree in Engineering or experience in the natural gas industry preferred.
