Job Summary
Responsible for assisting in the implementation and execution of programs, policies and processes supporting the company’s Supplier Diversity initiatives.
This role will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies that increase our organization's engagement with diverse suppliers, aligning with our commitment to foster an inclusive supply chain.
This role has a high level of customer interaction with opportunities for collaborative project-based work. In addition, the role interfaces with a wide range of internal teams (Product Divisions, Marketing, Legal, Finance, etc.
with exposure to senior leadership. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's commitment to diversity and inclusion in our supply chain.

Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Leverage data and analytics to track progress against established key performance indicators (both internal and external) and leverage insights to drive improvements.
Collect data and prepare survey responses from external organizations.
Produce annual, quarterly, and monthly supplier diversity report package.
Provide Tier 2 Spend reports to Customers, collect Tier 2 Spend reports from Prime Suppliers on a quarterly basis.
In coordination with Director, develop project plans and timelines for projects and initiatives.
Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for increasing diverse supplier participation.
Develop and maintain a database of qualified diverse suppliers. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate supplier diversity into procurement processes and create reports on supplier diversity metrics and program performance.
Provide training and support to procurement teams on supplier diversity initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
Share standard methodologies, resources, and tools with internal collaborators.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of Medline’s procurement processes, business objectives, and key collaborators to effectively support and advocate for diverse suppliers and manage multiple partners.
Create RFP lists of diverse suppliers for Category Managers and onboard new diverse suppliers to the team.
Organize and participate in supplier diversity outreach events and conferences. Support presence at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the Medline network of diverse suppliers and strengthen existing relationships.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Certification / Licensure :
None required.
Work Experience :
At least four (4) years of demonstrated ability in procurement, supplier diversity, vendor management, or similar role.
At least two (2) years of experience with project management and / or process management.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Experience working with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
Experience working for a global, matrixed organization.
Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience with supplier relationship management.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and procurement software.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to leverage data to drive business results.
Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Position requires travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPSD)
Work Experience :
Knowledge of supplier diversity certifications and regulations.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
At least four (4) years of experience in implementing and executing Supplier Diversity programs, policies, and initiatives.
