Our Dietary Supervisor Duties / Responsibilities Include :
- Directs and supervises all dietary functions and personnel.
- Organizes and distributes daily resident select menus.
- Performs initial nutritional interview and obtains food allergies, preferences and dislikes.
- Collects menus and compiles daily resident orders to create production sheets.
- Explains menus and method of ordering / receiving meals to all residents upon admission.
- Confirms residents have been served correctly, according to menu selections and diet orders.
- Maintains documentation of diet orders and processes all diet and nutritional care plan changes.
- Works with Registered Dietitian to maintain nutritional care plans.
- Assures nourishment and supplies are properly stocked for each neighborhood.
- Completes quality assurance checks on all delivered foods prior to meal service.
- Assists in preparing meals for in-room service as well as dining room service.
- Acts as liaison between activity, nursing and dietary departments.
- Other related duties as assigned.
