As the Medical Assistant you will be responsible for assisting both the medical team and the administrative team.

The Administrative / front office medical assistant duties may include :

• Managing patient records
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Answering the phone and checking voicemail
• Responding to emails
• Assisting in accounting and billing
• Working with insurance companies
• Managing the front desk and reception area

The medical / back office medical assistant duties may include :

• Recording patients’ personal information and medical history
• Going over procedure and treatment details
• Helping doctors during medical exams
• Taking vital signs, such as temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure
• Preparing samples to be sent to the lab
• Sterilizing instruments

MUST HAVE / SKILLS :

Strong clinical skills performing patient care activities; injections, blood draws, EKGs, etc. Good computer skills - everything is fully electronic,

The ability to multi-tasks in a busy patient care setting

Team oriented with good communication.

EDUCATION :

Medical Assistant diploma / cert AND high school diploma or GED is required.

SHIFT :

Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm NO WEEKENDS, NO HOILIDAYS!!
