Additional Information About the Role Join the BJC system in providing leadership support for our patient placement and transfer teams while building strategic, collabortive and trusted relationships throughout the East Region.

Provide operations support for 40 employees with hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, time card management, mentorship, and leadership within the BJC Capacity Management Center.

5 years of patient placement and transfer experience highly preferred. At least 2 years of supervisor experience required.

Leadership on-call required. Comfortable interacting with all levels of leadership and establishing trust is a must! Overview BJC HealthCare is one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States, delivering services to residents primarily in the greater St.

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Oversees the daily clinical operations for BJC's Capacity Management Center. Upholds the importance of delivering standardized and reliable care for the clients in our community.

Implements processes to ensure effective and efficient Capacity Management Center operations. Collaborates closely with the Program Manager for the Capacity Management Center to ensure adequate staff to meet demands.

Is flexible and meets the ever-changing demands of healthcare. Must be forward thinking and able to change course quickly as system needs arise.

Responsibilities Partners with HSO house supervisors and those responsible for daily capacity management activities across the system to understand needs and assist with problem solving.

Works with Program Manager to develop and implement recommendations for standardized processes / procedures. Monitors outcomes and adjusts as needed to meet the clinical and operational demands.

Is customer centric and provides consultation with unit and HSO-based leaders regarding Capacity Management issues as they arise.

Directs the delivery of safe and appropriate care through evidence-based practice, national benchmarks, monitoring of quality / safety measures / audits to achieve quality outcomes.

Manages individual(s) including but not limited to : onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed.

Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet / support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.

Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and / or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.

Supports and assists the growth of existing and new workforce management technologies and processes. Maintains comprehensive understanding of internal and industry standards, as well as of the changing business environment.
