How you contribute to our success

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our marketing team on a temporary basis, focusing on customizing promotional materials for wellbeing programs.

The duration of this position will be 12 weeks during peak project season, working full-time hours. While prior design experience isn't necessary, proficiency in Adobe InDesign is required.

This role primarily involves production work, customizing templates, and fulfilling requests from the account management team to create communication materials that help clients promote their wellbeing programs within their organizations.

Responsibilities to the team, our clients and community

• Tailor promotional materials for wellbeing programs specifically designed for Navigate clients.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, to produce visually engaging and impactful designs.
• Work closely with team members to understand project requirements and integrate client feedback into communication materials.
• Handle requests effectively, ensuring the prompt and precise delivery of promotional materials.
• Maintain brand standards and ensure consistency across all designs.
• Foster strong organizational skills to effectively manage projects and timelines, ensuring all tasks align with Navigate's goals.
• Communicate needs and expectations clearly with team members to facilitate collaboration and streamline the design process.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Portfolio showcasing design skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
• Familiar with project management tools like Jira.
• Ability to follow instructions, execute tasks precisely, meet deadlines, and maintain organized workflows.

Experience & Education needed for success in this role

Experience

At least 1 year of experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role

Education

Currently holds or is working towards a degree in Graphic Design or related field

Physical & Working Environment

Normal mental and visual attention is required. Normal office working conditions requiring continuous use of both hands.

Sitting most of the time, may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

• Position requires occasional bending, squatting, twisting and climbing stairs. There are minimal exposures to workplace hazards.
