Responsibilities : -
Provide professional massage therapy services to clients, including but not limited to pain management, trigger point therapy, and acute pain management.
- Assess clients' needs and create customized treatment plans to address their specific concerns and goals.
- Utilize a variety of massage techniques to promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, and improve overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and provide recommendations for at-home exercises or stretches.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors or physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of the massage therapy profession. Qualifications :
- Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist in the state of Illinois.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service.
- Ability to perform physical examinations and assess patients' conditions accurately.
- Proficiency in various massage techniques and modalities, including pain management and trigger point therapy.
- Knowledge of occupational health practices and the ability to adapt treatments based on individual needs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate client records.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
