Calibration Specialist
Job Description
This is an opportunity for overtime pay and full benefits provided. Hiring a Calibration Technician to complete calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following company or client specific policies and procedures.
- With minor supervision, complete calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following company or client specific policies and procedures, and in a safe manner.
- With guidance, perform flow, conductivity, pH, mass and dimensional calibrations.
- Handle and maintain company and client equipment, including testing and standards equipment.
- Learn to troubleshoot and perform repairs, with the majority of work focused on scheduled calibrations and maintenance events.
- Proactively assess project safety concerns and ensure team members comply with all client site safety requirements.
- Strategically assess client environments, needs, and requirements to develop and initiate effective solutions, delivering successful execution through established solid relationships with clients.
Level 2, 3, and expert level technicians are needed with between 2-10 years experience. No degree is required. Need at least 2 years of Calibration experience in a manufacturing setting.
Pharmaceutical experience is a plus
Must haves : 2 years of calibration experience, manufacturing equipment experience, calibration including : loop checks, humidity, temperature checks, pH
Hard Skills
- Minimum 2 years of Calibration experience
- Experience in manufacturing equipment
- Loop checks, temperature, pressure, pH calibrations on various equipment
- Experience with process equipment, utilities, manufacturing, and some lab instruments
- Experience with signal generators, lock out tag out, P&IDs
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (bonus)

- Ability to produce detailed reports referencing standards or established limits / parameters

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Raleigh, North Carolina.
