RoleOverview :

  • Synergy ManagementGroup (SMG) is seeking a dedicated Chief Operating Officer (COO) tomanage recruiting business development operational oversight growthstrategy new client acquisition and relations process improvementand ad hoc strategicinitiatives.
  • This is a remotecontract position immediate start 10am6pm ET availability requiredUSbased longtermpotential.
  • Candidates should behighly experienced in comprehensively supporting Clevel executiveswithin thisindustry.
  • Qualified applicantsmust have 15 years seniorlevel experience at toptier firms withinthe management consulting private equity and / or venture capitalindustry (e.

g. McKinsey BCG Bain KPMG PwC Deloitte Blackstone KKRCarlyle Sequoia Kleiner PerkinsAccel).

Month1 EvaluationResponsibilities :

Inaddition to the Ongoing Responsibilities listed below the Month 1Evaluation will focus on recruiting a senior sales executive andsupporting their successful integration into the firm.

You willalso be expected to identify and propose operational and strategicprocess improvements that will contribute to SMG s efficiency andgrowth.

  • You will be providedwith detailed instructions (templates manuals job descriptionsinterview criteria etc.) relevant tools / subscriptions and CEOavailability for final round interviews in order to achieve thefollowing objective : (1) Recruit a senior sales executive (ManagingDirector or Partner level) from a top tier consulting firm (2)Administratively strategically and operationally support the newlyhired sales executive with guidance from the CEO of SMG for theremainder of Month 1 to successfully close and receive clearedpayment for one new client engagement (minimum of $50Kcontract).
  • After successfullyachieving the above objective we will structure a longtermengagement.

OngoingResponsibilities (Month 1 andOnward) :

  • You willbe provided with detailed stepbystep instructions templates& relevant tools / accounts / subscriptions to manage the belowongoing COOresponsibilities :
  • Driving operationalstrategy improving internal processes overseeing crossfunctionalcollaboration handling logistics for the CEO email / calendarmanagement task / workflow management vendor management meetingscheduling / coordination screening and / or qualifying 3rd parties(prospective clients vendors new hire candidates partners etc.

with provided criteria daily progress reports daily Zoomphone / video checkin meetings proofreading administrative andstrategic project management and coordination LinkedIn outreach andsocial media management recruiting gatekeeper responsibilitiesadministrative / operational clientcoordination / management.

Compensation :

  • HourlyRate commensurate with experience (exclusively successbasedcompensation during the Month 1Evaluation)
  • Please specify yourhourly rate in yourapplication
  • Successbasedcompensation for the Month 1 Evaluation is capped at 15% of theclosed contract value (up to $7500 on a $50Kcontract).
  • Exceptionalperformers will have the opportunity for longterm leadership orpartnershiproles.

RelevantExperience :

  • Toptier orboutique management consulting firms (e.g. McKinsey BostonConsulting Group Bain &Company)
  • Toptier or boutiqueprivate equity and / or venture capital funds (e.g. Blackstone KKRCarlyle Sequoia Kleiner PerkinsAccel)
  • Decisionmaker withstrong critical thinking skills and ability to make soundrecommendations
  • Possesses highEQ
