Our client is a leading leisure and eventscompany in the UAE looking to hire an Associate Manager for EventsOperations you will play a crucial role in planning coordinatingand executing various events to ensure seamless experiences forattendees.
You will work closely with the Events Operations Managerto oversee the logistical aspects of events manage event staff andensure that all events run smoothly within budget and meet qualitystandards.
Keyresponsibilities
- Collaborate with theEvents Operations Manager to plan and execute events includingconferences corporate events andtradeshows
- Supervise event staff includingevent coordinators vendors and temporarypersonnel
- Manage event logistics includingvenue selection transportation andaccommodations
- Oversee budgeting and financialaspects of events including expense tracking and costcontrol
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliersto ensure timely delivery of goods andservices
- Ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements and obtain necessary permits forevents
- Implement and maintain event managementprocesses and procedures
- Handle crisismanagement and troubleshoot any issues duringevents
- Conduct postevent evaluations toidentify areas for improvement
- Stay updatedwith industry trends and innovative event managementpractices
Requiredqualifications
- Bachelors degree inHospitality Management Event Planning or relatedfield
- Proven experience in event management andoperations
- Demonstrated ability to lead andmanage event teams
- Strong organizational andtimemanagement skills
- Excellent communicationand interpersonal abilities
- Proficient inbudgeting and financial management
- Knowledge ofevent software and tools
- Ability to handlemultiple projects and prioritizeeffectively
- Detailoriented with a focus onquality and customer satisfaction
- Ability towork under pressure and meet tightdeadlines
- Understanding of risk management andsafety protocols for events
- Familiarity withcontract negotiation and vendormanagement
- Flexibility to work irregular hoursand travel as needed
- Certification in EventManagement is a plus
- Strong problemsolving anddecisionmaking skills
