Ambitious pulmonary / critical care physician leader to help develop a new accredited lung transplant program program at a quaternary care, large community hospital.
Seeking an experienced lung transplant physician to partner with strong cardiothoracic surgery colleagues.
Position Overview
- Full-time position with expertise in Lung Transplantation .
- Title : Medical Director Lung Transplantation
- Development of an accredited program in lung transplantation within an advanced lung division including comprehensive outpatient clinic, diagnostics, multi-disciplinary conferences, clinical research and publications (optional and encouraged).
- Opportunities for general pulmonary consults or ICU attending, if time or interest allows. Not required.
Tulane pulmonology is on the forefront of delivering advanced pulmonary care including Louisiana’s only accredited interstitial lung disease and cystic fibrosis programs.
Additionally, we have well developed ECMO, advanced heart failure and all solid organ transplant programs. Bronchoscopy suites are state of the art with strong interventional pulmonary faculty.
