Job Responsibilities :
Pennoni is currently seeking full-time and part-time AWS Certified Welding Inspectors for fabrication shops that produce bridge and highway products for transportation agencies located near Lincoln / Omaha, Nebraska :
- Required experience is consistent with, but not limited to :
- Inspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materials
- Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications
- Communicating and meeting with fabricators, clients, and engineers
- Production of daily written shop reports
Required Attributes :
- Minimum Education : High School
- Minimum years of experience : 3
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector
- Computer Skills : Microsoft windows and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work well independently and with others
- Need reliable transportation
Preferred Attributes :
- Experience performing QA / QC of bridge fabrication.
- Non-Destructive Testing NDT certifications ( UT, MT, PT).
- Experience performing QA / QC of bridge and highway structures fabrication.
- AWS Experience.
- Coating Inspection experience
