Job Summary :
Works on data center building management systems and electrical power monitoring systems. Grows and supervises a team of engineering reports while leading several project related tasks and / or large projects in their entirety.
Assumes ultimate responsibility for the assigned projects / tasks. Takes direction and seeks guidance from the program design lead and company leadership.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor of Science; Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or other pertinent curriculum combined with relevant technical experience.
- Typically, 7+ years total experience.
- Proven Track Record : 3+ years as Control Systems Project Engineer I or equivalent.
- Experienced with Building Management Systems and / or Electrical Power Monitoring Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Technical Responsibilities :
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of engineering reports during the design phase of projects.
- Expert in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and controls construction drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Experienced with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or Direct Digital Controls (DDC) applications.
- Expert in understanding, practicing, and guiding others in the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Firm understanding of and ability to independently design complex Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring (EPMS) control system designs.
- Integrate mechanical and electrical equipment such as Rooftop Units, Air Handling Units, VAV boxes, Chillers / Pumps, and Power Distribution Units.
- Provide support to field engineers during start-up and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
Customer Service :
- Communicate in an effective, positive, and proactive manner with customers.
- Provide excellent customer care and support.
- Be patient, attentive, and responsive to customers in solving their problems.
Project Responsibilities :
- Lead individual project related tasks and / or small to mid-sized projects in their entirety.
- Assume the ultimate responsibility for the successful completion of those projects or tasks on schedule and under budget.
- Efficiently communicates with other project stakeholders.
- Accurately estimates the duration and difficulty of tasks.
- Ensures the team adheres to a realistic schedule and budget.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
- Directly responsible for team members training and development.
- Provides constructive feedback to team members.
- Manages performance and retention of team members.

Work Authorization / Other Requirements :
- Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located is required.
- Maintain a valid driver's license.
