As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising housekeeping operations including rooms, common areas, and heart of the house areas to achieve and maintain the resort’s high standards of cleanliness.

Additional Responsibilities Include :
- Assists in training housekeeping staff, including safety, security, department procedures, and service guidelines
- Assists in scheduling staff according to standards and forecasted occupancy; assigns daily work tasks to employees
- Inspects guestrooms and public areas throughout the resort
- Maintains inventory at appropriate par levels to ensure employees have the necessary tools and supplies to perform their duties
- Perform shift associated work such as room assignment, vacant room discrepancy reports, and departure reports
- Assist in all department meetings
- Documents and communicates maintenance requests to the engineer department to ensure resort service quality standards are met
- Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assists in the performance review process and other duties as assigned
Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+years of related experience
- Computer literacy
- Proficient English language interpersonal skills to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to repeatedly lift / carry, push / pull items more than 25 lbs
- Flexible to work varied days and shifts, including weekends, and / or holidays
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions :
- BA / BS or bachelor’s degree
- Customer service or similar related experience
- 2+ years in supervisory experience
- 3+years of related experience
- CPR / First Aid certificate
