Overview of the Role :
They seek a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to lead their T56 turbine component repair operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in turbine component repairs and possess robust supervisory skills.
This hands-on role involves managing workflow across the shop and ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage a small, single-shift, multi-function workforce.
- Ensure all operations comply with established procedures and regulations.
- Efficiently manage work assignments to maintain workflow and prioritize job completion.
- Provide input for employee performance reviews.
- Maintain clear oversight of job progress and completion.
- Offer accurate status updates during weekly production meetings.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from Customer Service.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in Gas Turbine Component MRO.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in an MRO setting or equivalent.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with T56, T55, or T53 engines.
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant License.
- Current or prior holder of an FAA Repairman Certificate.
Skills :
- Expertise in one or more disciplines : mechanic, welder, grinder, machinist, hand finisher, inspector, assembler, or chemical processor.
- Ability to produce high-quality work and acquire new expertise.
