The Title Officer - Operations Analyst role will collaborate with Operational Leaders for the business lines they support to maintain daily reconciliation, KPI (Key Performance Indicators) reporting, report review and validation, back-office duties associated with requests for other internal departments, loan level research when requested, etc.

Assisting Operation Leaders in defining reporting needs, submitting requests to the Reporting Team, and validating that the output data meets the needs and requirements of the business.

Document process and procedures in support of Settlement Services Reporting.

Essential Functions

Coordinates training and change control activities, including, but not limited to, change documentation, training materials and scheduling of training locations and classes.

Works with process owners to ensure standard operating procedures and documentation is current.

  • Implements and tracks key metrics to analyze performance relative to customer service. Implements workflow changes and corresponding policy / procedure updates in conjunction with implemented improvements.
  • Ensures appropriate quality assurance controls are implemented in conjunction with system / process changes.
  • Serves as first line of defense representing CSS quality assurance processes across product lines.
  • Implements and maintains a standard repository for CSS processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and oversee audits and revisions of existing procedures.
  • Ability to learn of have a fundamental understanding of the business unit. Additionally, having the ability to keep up with changing technology and the reporting needs that will accompany these changes.
  • Support Operational Leaders with daily reconciliation. Researching and providing details regarding any variances to the proper Managers to be cured immediately in effort to meet our client's contractual SLA's (Service Level Agreements).
  • Perform requirements gathering and documentation with business line leaders and internal users for report development and enhancements.
  • Loan level review and research as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma. College experience is a plus.

Experience

  • 1 - 3 Years of client engagement / relationship management preferred.
  • 5 - 7 Years of experience in servicing, residential mortgage underwriting, portfolio monitoring and issue resolution, either through college or previous work experience;

preferably in the mortgage industry.

  • Experience and / or knowledge regarding multiple mortgage loan products (senior, subordinate, Option-ARM, HELOC, securitizations, etc.)
  • Previous customer service experience in the financial industry.
  • Demonstrated computer experience.
  • Experience working in a paperless environment is beneficial.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Compensation : $27.00 / Hourly

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon the office or meeting location.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary.

The employee is occasionally required to move about the office, operate a computer and other office machinery, such as calculator, copy machine, and computer printer;

occasionally position self to maintain files; occasionally moves boxes weighing up to 10 lbs. Close and distance observation required with ability to observe objects at close range in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.

g., computer screen). Must possess the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand and have the ability to interact with external and internal stakeholders.
